"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).

"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future" (Proverbs 31:25)

First let me say that despite what others may have told you, YOU are worthy. Despite what may have happened to you, YOU are worthy. Even if mama and daddy don't love you, YOU are worthy.
Why? Because you were created with purpose and with an intricate plan designed personally for you.
You were made in love and through love and all that you carry within you makes you valuable.
God knitted you together with everything that makes you…YOU. You were fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 - 16) by a creator who loves you with every part of HIM. You have value because of our Father, God says you are valuable. His thoughts towards you are precious (Psalm 139:17 -18), true and should be considered more than the thoughts of other people.
Only you can bring to the table what you carry. No one else can. Yes, there may be people who seem to be better than you, but they don't bring your unique story, your character, and your personality.
The people you keep trying to please and get approval from are fickle. One moment they love you, the next they hate you. You cannot depend on people to tell you who you are and who you are not because as people we change our minds a lot, but because God has set his heart and thoughts on you, you can trust that he will never change his mind. So, if God says you are worthy then you are.
I know it’s hard to believe that there is a mighty God who loves you and who sees you as a good creation. I know it’s hard to accept that God loves you no matter what you have done or what you have not done. It’s hard to accept that you are worthy, valuable, and created on purpose with a purpose when everyone and everything around you may tell you otherwise, but as you begin to open your heart to the truth of God’s love and word over your life, you begin to create a space in your heart where He can show you how important and precious you are to HIM.
No, you are not too messed up. No, you are not too far gone. No, you are not too broken. No, No, No. Those are all lies. God loved us while we were yet sinners (aka) while we were a HOT MESS. He loves you because HE is LOVE. He can’t help but express his very nature towards you. God wants you to know you are worthy and that your circumstances nor people can dictate your value or take away HIS love for you.
He holds you in his hands and wants to give you a hope and a future. Will you let HIM?
