Chapter 1

A Dreamer's Story
Perlude.
She carried a bag of shattered dreams slumped over her shoulder as if it was Gucci or Prada. She had given up faith, hope, and the pursuit of her dreams.
It was like she was awake yet sleeping. God had to fully awaken her and show her there is no real value in a bag of shattered dreams.
Every God given dream has a purpose, but if left shattered that's all it will ever amount to.
So, I ask you, will you leave your dreams shattered and broken or will you let God put them back together again?
Are you ready to dream? Join me for the journey!

Writing has always been a place of solace for me. When I was afraid, sad, confused, or even hopeful I would write. I never really understood the power of my words until I let a middle school counselor read my poems. She was able to connect with my words and truly see me. That moment gave me hope that even when I can't speak out loud my words give me a voice.
It is my prayer that you find your voice in this journey together and ultimately that you find God, that you find identity, love, and a life worth living.

Hello! Bonjour! Hola!
Welcome to my website. My name is T'keyah Dennis
I am the founder and author of iidare2dream and Sincerely, T'keyah, a Christian blog.
iidare2dream is a space where dreamers like myself come to find hope in their dreams. Sincerely, T'keyah is the umbrella for iidare2dream and it will be the platform I use to write letters to you; with you in mind.
In this journey you will see much of my story of how I am embracing my dreams through faith and my walk with God. You will receive real accounts of my experiences as a person who was once lost, voiceless, and hopeless to how I became a person who is now free, hopeful and excited about life.
It is my hope this platform helps you start your journey to freedom, wholeness, and identity in God. Ultimately, being a dreamer means knowing who you are and what God has given you to pour back into this world.
As God writes your story, embrace every moment because you never know what page someone else will need to read from your book.
You have a story worth sharing!
