Purpose without Pressure

"Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full-pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back." -Luke 6:38 (NLT

Have you ever thought about the process for creating diamonds? Neither have I until I heard someone mention that in order for diamonds to be refined they must go through fire.

Wow.

That spoke volumes to me.

If something so precious must go through fire to be refined than how much more do we as people, must go through "fire" to come out the best versions of ourselves that we can be. In life, we see pressure or fire as something negative because we are uncomfortable. But do you know that you being under pressure or being uncomfortable does not always mean you are under attack or that life is out to get you.

Sometimes, it simply means you are being prepared. You are being refined. A lot of us have been praying that God show us our purpose, while we rebuke the pressure. We think that everything and everyone is against us when really God is using that moment to purge you, refine you, and mature you in HIM.

How else can we go forth in higher if we are not prepared?

Preparation takes process. A process takes trials and trials equals growth. James 1:2-4 says "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness (perseverance) .. Let steadfastness (perseverance) finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything" (NIV).

So, in other words, it all works for your good. If you are under pressure it could be leading you to your purpose.

Your fiery trial is producing greatness out of you. It is maturing you and giving you the backbone you need to make it through your next season.

If you can handle what God has given you in this season, he will give you the wisdom and strength to handle the next season.

And so much greater is coming in your NEXT season.

In this season, use those gifts that are inside you to help make room for your purpose. Whatever that may be, don't be afraid for God to use you.

And he can use you. He can use anyone, the question is are you willing?

Are you wiling to trust him? Are you will to go through the pressure, are you willing for others to look at you funny? Are you willing to sometimes to be separated? There is pressure in your purpose.

But you're trying to get to your purpose without going through the process. Accept the process. It will refine you.
